Chelce joined Legalpeople in 2025 as Assistant Controller. In her role, she assists with the monthly close process, prepares and reviews journal entries, and maintains the integrity of the general ledger. She partners with the sales team and organizational leadership on accounts receivable reporting, supports the CFO with financial statements and budgeting, and prepares audit documentation to strengthen internal controls and organizational accountability.

Previously, Chelce served as Controller for a corrections supply company, where she led financial reporting, budgeting, human resources, and operational efficiency initiatives. Earlier, she worked as a Senior Cost Accountant in the steel industry and began as a Staff Accountant at a CPA firm, building a strong foundation in financial analysis, audit, and compliance.

Chelce played collegiate softball at Armstrong Atlantic State University and Kennesaw State University before earning her B.S in Accounting at Shorter University. Chelce is the mother of three daughters and enjoys watching her kids compete in a variety of sports and traveling whenever time allows. Coming from a baseball family, she can often be found at the ballpark, in the gym, or track supporting her children’s athletic passions.
